The SunWest HarbourTowne is a potential real estate development in Pasco County, Florida.
The end goal is to build 1500 residential units, 2 000 hotel rooms, a golf course, a water park and a big marina.

If this SunWest Harbourtowne development becomes reality we might get a huge appreciation for the rentals we own in Aripeka. Aripeka is 1 mile north of SunWest Mines where they are hoping to develop all this new real estate.
I’m not sure what is holding the progress of SunWest Harbourtowne back but for some reason they are struggling to get going. My guess would be that environmentalists and funding is hindering the progress because everything else seems to be fine.
If I’m honest, I probably wouldn’t go through with a development like the one they have planned due to the following. I’m uncertain the location will yield good enough prices for it all to be worthwhile. That said, the land out there is beautiful and it would no doubt be one of the prettiest neighbourhoods on Floridas west coast. Check out this video I made:

Not bad? In conclusion it would be a little slice of heaven brought to the area and I will definitely be praying for it to become reality. I wonder if I should look into getting involved? It might be a good experience that makes me better at business in addition to providing me with good contacts?
