I’m too proud to tell this to her face but I’m actually impressed by her old American “wanna be” sports car.. It’s a 2001 Ford Mustang and I love it :)
I love it because it’s been helping us out more than I could ever have imagined. It always works and I’m pretty sure it helped keep my girlfriend single until I entered the scene. It also kept taking me to and from the workshop where my big truck spent most of it’s time.. So instead of trusting mine, or any other truck for that matter, my girlfriend hooked her sports car up with a trailer and we have used it for EVERYTHING. There is something very nice about that.
Mind you, there are a few reasons to fight the love for a car like this.. (more…)
I think I feel like going out for a bit. Small adventures are the best thing ever, as long as I get a good night’s sleep at a hotel every night :)
I know I’m comfortable, but I really love it that way. Walking to Copenhagen, riding a motorbike across the United States or riding a bicycle in California. It’s all great fun! as long as I don’t have to sleep in a tent that is :) (more…)
I made a Real Estate Inspired Video while testing my new Tokina lens.
The equipment is getting better and better. Sadly, my filming and editing skills aren’t quite keeping up. But I still love trying to be creative, even though I’m not as gifted as I want to be. Still. Room for improvement makes for nice challenges :)
The video above was shot in Port Richey, Florida. It’s a pretty run down area with lot’s of abandoned properties and foreclosures. The big recession in 2008 hit really hard all over Florida and it becomes very apparent in some areas, like this one.
Still. A mess like this creates room for new opportunities. Hence my real estate inspired video with some stories on how profits can be found everywhere. Even in places like this.
What is most striking to me is the massive amounts of abandoned commercial properties. (more…)
I kind of want a boat. Don’t ask me why, but for some reason
I feel like buying an old something
The only problem is that I get really frustrated when working with old stuff, or doing most kinds of manual labour if I’m honest, so I know I’ll be miserable.
I have done this several times before and I always got fed up. Sometimes I finished my boat, car or motorcycle project, sometimes I didn’t. Good thing about all these projects is that they ended up profitable :) Buying something comparatively cheap is everything! Read more about it in this chapter: Dealing It
Or an old truck? I really love both. And the fact that it’s cheaper to run a 50 year old un-tuned V8 here than a brand new Volvo Diesel back in Europe makes it even more appealing.
I don't like a super early morning, but I do like mornings. I definitely have more energy, work better, find everything more inspiring and feel better during the first five…
This is our new driveway to the two houses we are working on. Three of the five houses here in Florida are now rented. The final two are undergoing some…
