As you know, I’m selling a house and the timing is pretty right on. Most people have their holidays now during the Swedish summer. Let’s call it the holiday season. During these times there are usually less houses for sale. And that’s a good thing, because there is not less buyers. That means more buyers for every object and in general better prices on what’s being sold.

But that’s not all. In Sweden we have one specific site where 90% of all real estate is being advertised. It’s called Hemnet. Last week there were 13 600 house ads. That’s 24% less than the same period last year. Lowest amount of houses for sale in many years. And that’s when I’m selling. Pretty clever, huh?
